Hello gearhead, this is Greg Stanley and welcome to Auto Sausage where we grind bits of automotive awesomeness into a brief but satisfying podcast. Today we are going to deep dive into the five cars coming up for sale at the Mecum Indianapolis Auction coming up in May that are in the Auto Sausage Auction Game. The window for guessing the correct bid is open now and it closes the day prior to when the auction opens. I will post your best guesses including my own then and you can watch the auction live….to see how you do. Thank you to all of you who have already entered.
What will you win? Four tickets to the Cincinnati Concours d’Elegance! I am getting a lot of interest from sponsors and some future prizes include $200 worth of Star Wars autographs! $100 worth of beef jerky and more car care prizes.
Be sure to check out my Instagram pictures from these visits @AutoSausage and all links mentioned are in the show notes which can be found on the new Auto Sausage website.
So how does the auction game work? I pick five cool cars from an upcoming auction. You enter what you think they will sell for on the Auto Auction tab at www.AutoSausage.com. You will have to enter your email address but I will not spam you! If a car doesn’t sell, I will use the highest bid that is realized and published by the auction house. Whoever has the lowest total difference from the total price for all five cars wins!
How much will the 1974 PORSCHE 911S RACE CAR (Lot S212) sell for?
How much will the 1965 SHELBY FACTORY STAGE III 289 COBRA DRAGONSNAKE (Lot F140) sell for?
How much will the 1963 CHEETAH RACE CAR (F138) sell for?
How much will the 1982 DETOMASO PANTERA GT5 (S210) sell for?
How much will the 1970 PLYMOUTH HEMI CUDA CONVERTIBLE (Lot F120) sell for?
I will be there on Wednesday and Saturday
Thanks again for joining me on my automotive adventure and good luck playing the auction game! I will talk to you next week!
